What novels have the motif of lieing and conning?
I’m doing a research paper and i need a little help finding novels that have the motif of lies and cons other than Huck Fin. Please help me!! Thanks!
I think the uncle in Nickolas Nickleby by Dickens could be seen as fulfilling this… but it is not as blatant as in Huck Fin.
The other one that comes to mind is The Great Gatsby… a great deal of lying occurs in it regarding both the affairs, and the truth about characters’ past.
